Nice work, how much did that run you if you dont mind me asking?
I got this one at a retail store, they let me go through like 10 boxes of packaged ones. This was the only good looking walnut one.
I picked one up at Bradis for $349 which is a steal of a deal. I will most likely sell it in the next year as I may be moving to NJ and they have a pain in the ass magazine limit of 15.
Only issue is finding one for a decent price. Gander has em for $400, i saw one at Bradis Guns that was in great condition with the beech stock for $350. The older guns tend to have a dark walnut stock that I prefer the look of.
Any opinions on the Swiss K31? for the price I think its a great buy. Accurate, relatively cheap match grade surplus ammo, plus the straight bolt gets a ton of looks
I had the same struggle for my scope choice on my Tikka T3 when I was living in Oregon. With all the rain and crappy weather I did not have many issues with my vortex. The sales guy turned me onto them after looking at some Leopold scopes.
My favorite part that pushed me over the edge was...
Ya, I am going to have to go with number 3 as well. Very few places wont just jack them up. It makes sense, since they can get the asking price most of the time.
I'm not desperate so ill just keep calling in and bothering the gun shops till they get one in. wish me luck
Im calling in to bradis pretty often, but i dont think they do preorders on that one. I think I asked the first day. Just gotta get lucky I guess. Give me some more time to find ammo for it.
Thanks for the rundown on the gun.
I did see that about bradis, If i had shot the gun a few days earlier I may have been able to pounce on that. Until then im just gonna have to call and wait.
I fired a friends KelTec PMR-30 over the weekend and I think the gun is a blast. It was so damn light with such a minimal recoil and the rounds just kept coming.
My issue now is trying to find one in the area, I think I must have called every gun store and the only one or two that had it...
