Is the cocked and locked a safe way to carry? I'm a little uncomfortable with it. I don't have any buds that have a single action semi. Anyone know if the "pros" consider it safe?
I highly recommend it at least once a year. It's very relaxing. Just make sure you have some sort of communication in case of emergency...cell phone you can turn on, SPOT Messenger, ELB, sat phone, ect....
They taste like bananas to me. Not a lot of trees around.
Tell me about the puff balls? I thought those were poison. You can eat them? What do they taste like?
Just don't believe the range the companies claim. Not even close. Even on a lake I find they don't come close. They are very handy though for many things. Trips- traveling with muliple cars, skiing, beach, the mall......
I pinch the fur in the middle of the back and make a small slice. Put both index fingers in and pull from the middle both ways pulling the fur and skin inside out all the way to both ends. Cut the head off at the neck, cut all feet off at the ankles, and cut off the tail just past the butt.
I have a single AA battery CREE flashlight that is amazing! One easy to find battery and long lasting brightness. A headlight is a must for me entering the woods during deer season. I use the red light to make it to my treestand.
