      M&Ps are excellent handguns as are the Gen4 Glocks. If the Glock 19 doesn't work for you, the M&P should be your next option... at least in my opinion.

      The 21SF would get my vote of the two. If you want a polymer frames .45 that is more suitable for carry because of it's size you may want to add the 30SF and the M&P to your list.

      The Glock 17 or 19 and S&W M&P are great choices in that price range. Your capacity requirements are going to limit you to 9mm and maybe .40S&W. I greatly prefer the 9mm of the two. Best of luck with whatever you decide!
