I am looking to purchase a Glock 34. Condition is not especially important to me as long as everything is in good working order.
Please contact me if you have one for sale.
Thanks,
Matt
If someone were for some reason limited a .22LR for self defense, velocity shouldn't be the only criteria that they base their ammo choice on. Reliability should be a key concern.
The .22LR is an inexpensive round and it often tends to be manufactured with the bare minimum of care and...
The padded VTACs are great. My favorite slings are the Blue Force Gear VCAS slings. They are the simplest to operate sling that I have used. The build quality and materials are great.
A "good" trigger will vary based on the application. Target rifles probably should have short, crisp, light triggers. Defensive handguns should have consistent (same every time), with a strong reset. And even these things are subjective.
Most any trigger (within reason) can be learned through...
On unsupported chambers: Glock started adding more support several years ago. The most .40S&W Glocks are much better.
On the light rail causing malfunctions: The new Gen4 shows promising signs of moving past that. That is part of the reasoning behind the new double recoil spring module. The new...
I guess the only guidance that I can offer is try different ammo. I have had issues with WWB in the past but I still use it for range ammo. Also, see if you can trace the problems to one specific magazine. Do you only use OEM mags?
Not sure I agree on the disaster part.
I like (maybe even love) the Glock trigger just the way it is. Light doesn't always equal good. The Glock trigger's main strength is the reset. It is fast and very positive, especially with the NY1 trigger spring. I wrote a bit about it here: My Favorite...
Hmmm... I would try new ammo before I tinkered with springs. I would also try all my magazines to see if there is an issue with one of them.
If you must tinker with springs, I think Wolff sells a recoil spring calibration pack which allows you to try several different spring weights...
I just went though this with a buddy.
Watch this video of Larry Vickers (lefty) with his modernized AK and you can see how his sling is attached at the front: YouTube - Larry Vickers and the Modernized AK
He is using one of these at the front: ::BLUEFORCEGEARâ„¢::
It is attached to the AK's...
Hmmm... That is interesting. The weight of a Doctor sight should not even come close to effecting how a G19 cycles.
What guide rod and spring are you using now? Did this G19 run without problems before you installed the Doctor sight? Are you using a new or different type of ammo?
Wolff springs...
I would pass on Del-ton as long as the super deals from S&W are available. Actually, I pass on Del-ton even when S&W deals aren't available. Pat Rogers, among others, generally recommend S&W ARs as their budget choice. Sadly, you will be stuck with a 1 in 9" twist but at least it will be...
