      Feel the guns locally and then make a purchase online. There a few good deals out there to be had. Couple months back, I picked up a Colt Trooper 4" at $325, deep blue, two grips and two holsters. Deals are out there, just take your time looking around. Super38

      I do! I would never take any one person's word for a load. I did that once - from the Lee manual. It was a hot load. I wouldn't consider loading unless I have at least two reliable sources. Thanks for the .02 ;) Super38

      +1 Colt used to make a CCO which was a full size 1911 barrel but a short grip. That was the way to go. Super38
