I always loved the henry, maybe watched Dances with Wolves too many times growing up and for a crazy reason throught i could drop buffalo with one. ahhh not so much but its a sweet looking design for sure. I like the look of a spencer when they turned into a sharps and made them huge!

I personally am having troubles with the 50 post rule. since i was around and took the time to get to 50 posts but then the next day was knocked back down to my previous days number
thats a good deal surpressors area awesome but that wait is a killer. to drop the money and then wait on it for months. Would like to see them speed that up. or just pass the hearing act

I run a suppressed 16in. I spent the money there instead of the SBR. its awesome, hoping to get out and test it on turkeys this spring here in South dakota
I would not say that an elk is hard to kill, bt youhave to hit it right and at 1000 yards your margin for error is tiny, one little not prefect moment in there and you ahve a wounded elk that has a 1000 yard head start. OH boy!!
I would have to wieght in saying your min will be a 7mm rem mag and the max is a howistzer, I would sit in the relm of a 7mm STW, 7mm ultra mag, 300 or 338 ultra mag, they seem to come with a smaller price than the laupa. Lots can shoot 1000 yards and make a group but it needs to have the foot...
with all this in mind what are your thoughts as to where i should be going? just get a muzzloader that feels good adn try to make it shoot or look into something that is built for for the long ranges and work with it? I just don't want to get somthing and then really feel like i should have...
For the first few years of the season when they opended it up to bucks instead of just the doe only season. The rules said only open sights, then last year it was changed to scope with no magnification or peep sights. I do not know about all of you but i had considered the peep as a open site
