Gemtech did the barrel work on my Beretta Cheetah .22. They machined an adapter on it and installed higher sights to see over the can. I dont remember the cost though. Previous owner had all the work done.
Its meant to imply the weapon or equipment is designed or modified to make it easier to employ such tactics. However the term is highly over used and used to sell B.S. more than define its type. I hate hearing it to be quite honest with ya. :):
I bought one when they first came out. Fun little gun. I have the 5 inch barrel. I need to find the 3.5 inch barrel. Anyone know if someone carries it in stock in the Indy area?
Fun to run with my Outback II can. My only complaint is the cheap plastic sights.
My first I purchased with my own money and picked out myself was when I was 18. It was one of the first Glock 22s that came into Plainfield Shooting Supplies around 1992. If I could only have half of the ones I have sold or traded off over the years Id be a happy man.
Hmmmmm.. That is quite a difference... On the plus side, its easy enough to fit your own bushing and go from there. Im by no means saying that a 4" 50ft group is bad, but I do think it could be better.
I know its shooting low, but how is the grouping? Id much rather have a bushing a little loose than super tight. Makes it a pain the field strip. Im not completely sold on super tight match bushings anyway. I have a couple of Springfields, a Tussey Colt Officers Stealth, and a Nighthawk...
I was a 18 year dipper. Started on Skoal straight, then Kodiak..Last 12 years has been Cope and Grizzly straight. Quit 3 months ago with the help of nicotine gum. Im so glad I did.
I carry a variety of knives depending on what Im doing at the time. I carry a small Blackhawk fixed blade behind my mag pouches on my duty belt. I think the blade is only 3 inches. But I use a fixed blade as Im a dog handler, and when I need it to cut twine, rope or whatever securing fences or...
Thanks for the warm welcome all.
Ha, I have been registered over at AR15.com since the beginning. Im well aware of the type. It doesnt bother me at all. Thanks for the heads up though.
Give Russ or Jason or George a call down at Elmores. Last time I was in there they had a few boxes of the 5.56 ones. They may have some .308 ones in as they have a bunch of .308 ARs in stock.
You could also wait until the next 1500. Bring it and either Raven or SharkTac will make you one on the spot. I have done that many times with both companies and have been satisfied with both.
Stock Glock 27 with Trijicons. Standard 9 rd mags. I have a 26 also, just easier to carry the 27 as Im issued a 22 at work and use a 23 for plain clothes details. Ammo is free and .40 is encouraged through the department.
