Good morning all! I haven't been on this forum in years, so I'm not sure if this is the correct spot to post this. I currently live in Northern Illinois and I'm looking to purchase a NEVER FIRED Gen 2 Glock 19C from him. He doesn't know what they're worth and I'm having a difficult time finding...
Here was the response I got from the Indiana State Police. FYI.
"You will need to update the address on your handgun carry permit by going to the following site:

However, Illinois does not recognize Indiana’s handgun carry permit. Basically they recognize...
Thanks guys. If your facts are true, that's cool that it can still be valid. I'll contact the state and see what happens.
Any more info would be helpful, if you find anything out.
Thanks!
I moved to Illinois a few years ago, but still have a lifetime permit from when I was living with my parents.
I know that it says you have 60 days to notify them of the new address. Did I lose everything about my permit when moving out of state? Just curious.
Thanks!
Haha!
Not sure... I'm here with my fiance for a while, but who knows what the future may bring. I moved from Chesterton. My family is about an hour south of Chesterton. I hate Illinois laws... I just saw something in the paper stating that we'll have to wait even longer to carry.
I got my permit about 2-3 years ago. I moved to Illinois about 4 months ago.
Can I carry in Indiana?
If I were to move back, could I just change the address on my card?
Thanks!
Well here's the thing. The guy that I sold the 19 to STILL has it. He bought it from me with a few boxes of ammo and a few magazines. He has NEVER shot it since I sold it to him, never touched it. He is interested in trading me for the shotgun + cash. He has bought a bunch more ammo and he now...
Haha,
Yeah, I understand the logic... I do like having the Mossberg, especially with the 18" barrel. Maybe I'll just do that then. One of the reason's I really like the Mossberg is because she can rack one back and the sound might scare someone off as well...
Okay, so here's the story. I just moved to Illinois and they just passed the conceal carry law.
I use to carry a Glock 19 in Indiana and loved every inch of that gun.
When I moved here I bought a Mossberg 500 12G with a 28" barrel and full synthetic stock and the 18" barrel and pistol grip...
Not sure what the demand for the wood is, but my fiance's mother has a bunch of cabinets and things made from it. They live in a house built in 1889, so the wood goes with the whole theme of the home. I think that if done properly, furniture can look very nice and "rustic".
