Agreed completely. I wouldn't have paid the cash for this one either but, it was unfired, in the box, heavy barrel, with tripod, and in mint condition. Also, previous owner added in a DSA rear rail cover and IOR Valdada scope. All in all, a nice set up to cap off my FAL collection.

Haven't checked prices lately but, with the current craziness in the black rifle market, I would wait a while for prices to come down. I"m sure they're greatly inflated now.
I've had my DSA Para FAL for about 5 years now...think I paid like $1,500 - $1,700 at the time. Bought it at Shooters...
I have a 300 Black Out upper. Picked it up just because I like the idea of a .30 cal AR. Have put many rounds through it without any problems. The mags (U.S. Military) I use will usually only hold 29...but I don't see that as a problem.
As for ammo, I picked up a set of dies and all the brass...
DSA makes a quite nice FAL also. Believe they are located in Barrington IL. Only ones I've ever heard of to avoid is some of the Century and Enterprise builds. Others may know of more to leave alone.

One tip I can offer. Let the boy visiting your house know your REALLY into guns. If you know when he'll be visiting, arrange to be OC in your house when he shows up. Also, make sure your cleaning something evil & black (ak, ar) during his visit.

I have owned 3 Mak's in my life. All were well built, accurate and easy to maintain. However, over time, I found them to be too big and heavy for caliber to CCW. For the same size/weight I can carry a 9mm.
Still love the history and ruggedness of a Mak, I just don't have a use for one...
Blue Ash Chili is a "Mom & Pop" kinda place. I do think they may have two locations now. I've only ever been to the one that's actually in Blue Ash.
I've had Skyline and did not like it. Don't know about Goldstar. So I'm probably not the best at knowing what Cincinnati style really is.

When in Cincinatti give Blue Ash Chili a try...best chili I've ever tasted. It's just a hole in the wall in Blue Ash...nothing to look at...but has some good food.

Personally, having owned both a Remington 700 and a Browning A-bolt. There is NO contest. I'd take the Browning everyday of the week. Have hunting with a A-bolt, in 243 and a Euro bolt in 30.06 for years....in all types of weather. Never had a problem.
And as far as looks go...there is no...
This is very true. Make sure your employeer and/or any future schools will recognize a degree from IWU. Always check their accredidation and transferrability because you never know where life may take you in the years to come.

I have a CZ Ringneck in 16 gauge. As others have said, it isn't an expensive SXS but it is very well built. Actully managed to get one with decent wood too. It's my "go to" shotgun for wet/rainy days when I don't want to get my nice gun messed up.
I don't think you'll go wrong with any CZ...
BTB is great. Mark, Lauren and Brandon are always helpful, friendly and willing to go the extra mile. When I "need" something firearm or reloading related, BTB is always my first stop. Have never been disappointed.

I respectfully disagree. If you break into my home to steal from me or harm my family, you have at that point made the choice that your life is "worth the risk" ...ie you have made the decision to forfeit your life should I catch you.
While I do not seek confrontation or to harm/kill....if you...
I would not let it go for less that $3K. The HK41 is not as common as the 91's or 93's or even 94's. I'm thinking an HK collector will be your best customer on this rifle.
