i once got a squib on a reload and out of frustration grabbed the first thing i could find and pushed the bullet out. The first thing i could find was a metal rod. Ended up putting a few dings n the bore. The thing is, that gun in still extremely accurate still.

I shoot a pre rem marlin. 1894c 357. This will be the first deer season that i use it for deer. Its a very accurate gun and i'm not worried at all about dropping the deer. Also use 38s for small game.
I'm a marlin fan and shoot a pre micro grove 39a and a 1894c pre rem. Both are great shooting guns and never have a problem. They are very simple to take fully apart to clean. never had to fix anything while in there.
I would say a pre Remington marlin 1894c. Remington bought them in 2009 and some serial numbers in the 91xxxxxxxx are pre and some are post Remington. Mine is a 92xxxxxx and it's a pre rem and it's perfect. Also it will be stamped REM on the right side of the barrel next to the receiver. If it's...
I normally shoot auto's for everything but having recently shot a browning and also beretta 682 o/u , i'm on the hunt for a beretta 686 o/u. It's going to be the universal gun for me. Jack of all.
