Lol, I understand churchmouse. I usually buy as needed. I've never really stock piled ammo. It's frustrating because I use mine for coyote hunting 99 percent of the time. Now not only can you not find the typical fmj stuff but the better hunting ammo is all gone to.
You know what really chaps my butt!? Nobody has any .223 ammo in stock! I've got a new monarch scope to mount on one of my AR's but I don't have the spare .223 ammo to sight the damn thing in! Ugh!
Sorry, just venting.....
If they bark, the jig is up! I've had them wind me, know something is up, and take off out to 200-300yards and sit and bark. But that's ok, I'm zero'd at 200 ;)
Take whatever gear you think will give you the best possibility to take a coyote. I've gone hunting before and have done everything wrong, and still had them come in. I've also gone and did everything right, and have seen nothing. At the end of the day, it all depends on whether or not...
Looking for some advice! I just bought a Stryker 380 and as of now I'm undecided what broadheads I'm going to shoot. What does everybody else shoot? I'm a big fan of the grim reapers out of my bow but not sure out of the x-bow. Advice?
I've got a savage model 10fp with a redfield 4-12x40 scope and at a 100yds, using the hornady superformance 53gr ammo, it'll shoot 3 shot groups you can cover with a dime all day long!
My son has an 04 that he bought last year that only had 50k on it. He had new headstuds, bigger turbo, injectors, exhaust, programmer etc, etc. I must say, it is one bad motha and a whole lot of fun to drive! The dang thing sounds like a jet engine!
As much as I hate to admit it but, our local Walmart has the best prices I've found anywhere. They are typically 4-5 dollars less per box of 50 on 9mm and 45's.
I coach little league and I love helping out the kids, especially the ones that don't get much help at home. I used to play a lot of softball myself but don't ever play anymore because I have more fun coaching the kids! And those bowfishing boats are flipping awesome!
As far as the lack of forward assist and dust cover go, how many of your other guns have them? I own lots of guns and have never had an issue. I'm not crawling around in the mud or out in the desert so its not a necessity for me. My AR has them but I've never had to use the FA and 99 percent of...
i bought a PSE kingfisher last year to bowfish with and can't stand it(the bow that is). I didn't wanna use my matthews to go out in the river with! I've seen some guys out the last couple of weeks shooting off bridges though.
I get kinda dumbfounded how people think you can't kill anything but a ground hog with a .223. I'm not trying to start trouble, it just seems like you see posts like this a lot.
