I used to have an Interarms PPk/S and while it was a great gun it sure was out for blood. I tried for a couple of years to adjust my grip but it would always bite me.
I wouldn't say I am panick buying, just happens to be when i sold my old pistol and want something new. I am trying to get an HK P30S 9mm right now and it is crazy how busy places are. Lucky for me not many people are rushing to spend 900 on this pistol.
I have never had the opportunity to play with a lem so not really sure what makes it better over the other. I had a 15 pound da pull on my ppk and that thing was a pain for such a little gun.
Yeah I think I will stick to the 9mm for recoil and price cost. Now I just have to shop around and see if I can find a really good deal on one that is new or like new.
So it sounds like some people really like the fnx but there are several that don't. The P30 or 45c seem to be a more favorable choice over the fnx. I am leaning more towards the p30 since it is a 9, not just for ammo cost but size as well. Moving up from a ppk is going to be quite a jump in size...
Well I personally do not feel comfortable with carrying a gun cocked and locked like a 1911 so it will need to be DA. The amount of shooting I will do with the new pistol will be dependent on the cost of ammo for it.
Sure, I narrowed it down based of reputation of the companies and the design of the gun. I looked at all the other offerings and being that I am a glock hater I eliminated anything that looked similar. I really want to stay away from striker fired weapons, just prefer a hammer or even a bobbed...
I am looking at getting a new gun since I sold my ppks. I have narrowed it down to either the hk p30 or the fn fnx, both 9mm. Would anyone like to share their experience with either of these guns?
I called the two stores and neither of them even has the guns in stock I am interested in. I guess I will just have to go off which of the three feels the best to me. Those three are HK 45c, HK P30S 9mm and FN FNX-9. They see to be kind of a rare gun to find people with around here. Anyone have...
I with admit that maybe asking for his name for a form was a bit paranoid but I just wanted to protect myself. The tone and the way the guy spoke to me on the phone is what led me to think he was a felon. I decided to just put the gun up on gun broker so I don't have to worry about who I sell...
I am sure his question has been asked before but is there a range within an hour of Fort Wayne that does firearm rentals? I would really like to fire a couple different guns to help me make up my mind on what I want to get next.
I have been trying to sell a gun on Armslist this past week and almost had it sold to a buyer. I called the buyer to verify his name so I could put it on a transfer form for my records and the guy got pissed that I wanted to do that. We called the whole thing off because he didn't want to have...
I have only had the chance to shoot the P22 but when I did the gun was really good for being 22 pistol. I will admit that it did have a few jams but I have had those on my 22 rifle before so I think it depends on the ammo.
WaltherForums
I would give the Walther Forums a shot as well as INGO. I just found out how much my interarms ppks 380 was worth and using both sites was beneficial.
I was at Gander Mountain last night looking at an FN FNX and the guy behind the counter made sure to clear the weapon first and handed it over with the action open, very impressed. Maybe an hour before that I was at a gun shop and there were some younger kids there playing with an sks and they...
