Recently picked up a Savage 110 in 308. It did not have the bolt. I have looked online and have not been able to find one. Any help would be appreciated.
Sent the donor rifle to JES to have the barrel bored for 358 Winchester. Only took 2 weeks and it was time to make up some test loads. Using powder and bullets I had, resized some 308 cases and had good results. I don't have a rest, shooting from a picnic table, my 3 shot group was right at an...
Midway sells them for that price when they have them. ER shaw said $250 and they might have one by October. I could not find any on the internet, or local gun shops.
JES out of Oregon only charges 225 to rebore barrel. That includes return shipping. Read some good reviews. Turn time is only 1 week. You send the barrel and action. Comes back ready to be reinstalled in your stock. Have not had any luck finding a barrel and tools for that price.
Has anyone shot a 358 Hoosier built at M&S armament? Talked to one of the guys that work there yesterday. He said they are built on a savage axis donor. Mario was not in, going to call and get more info Monday. Just wondering about the trigger and how accurate they are.
Picked it up today. It was dark when we got home. Set up a small target at 10 yards and shot a few. Good trigger, felt good. Needs night sights. Thanks Bradis.
Good idea to have one. I got lucky when I started I did not have one. The pin the pushes the primer out had enough adjustment it pushed the case out of the die.
