Ok, so I've decided to carry one in the chamber. It's not that I'm not confident around weapons, it's actually kind of the opposite. I've always grown up around them with my family, then with the military, so confidence isn't so much the problem. The problem is that i have to reverse the...
XDM 45. If it had a physical safety switch, I would be a lot less paranoid, but the safety is a depress switch on the grip - just me being paranoid about it
Does everyone have 1 in the chamber when CC'ing? I'm torn between the paranoid side of me who doesn't like have one in the chamber, and the safety side of me that wants one in the chamber for when the time comes.
Maybe it was a Lyman press because this looks like it will do the trick. Will look tonight to make sure Buffalo Arms - Product Detail - J to X Shellholder Adapter - $12.48
Hey guys, just started reloading 223 and 45 ACP using my grandpas old Lee loader. The problem is that the shell holder that came with my Lee die set is too small for the press. It needs to be a tad wider around the "neck" and overall height of the shell holder needs to be longer by about a...
I'm sure they have. But I still believe that most robbers go in with a plan NOT to shoot anyone, and carry to gun to make people fear the robber and do what they say. Then, when something not planned happens, such as a CC or police, the thought of being caught makes them do really stupid things...
I disagree. I would be willing to put most robberies that turn into shootings, the robber had no intentions of shooting his weapon once. What made him fire shots was the sudden change of plans, aka someone such as CC or police pulling a weapon on the robber.
Devil's advocate - what happens if person robbing pharmacy had no intention of firing weapon, but since I drew mine he has fired his at employees?? Does that make any difference in your decision to CC?
Does anyone CC at work when the work regulations clearly state that no employees should bring firearms on premise (even in your car in parking lot!)? The reason I ask is because I am a manager at a pharmacy chain who has been getting robbed quite a bit lately. Even though the policy clearly says...
I've been on the fence about this. Ideally, I would like to carry IWB, but I do understand because of the size of the XDM, I might have to do OWB, but I'm really trying to avoid it if I have to. Maybe I can use this as an excuse to go make another gun purchase :rockwoot:
Excuse my ignorance when it comes to holsters as I have only carried in my glove box, but with the wood backboard of the crossbreed that forces you to wear on your back, correct? How does it feel sitting down?
I know there has been some talk on here about the Anderson manufacturing company. Add my name to the disappointed (for now). Here is the message I sent them:
Within 5 minutes I received a response back:
I really hope they can turn this situation around. I will keep everyone updated but...
