      Another sad day...

Maybe it's a blessing. Would suck for your car to break down after you spent all your money on a gun. Can't ride your gun to work.

      CC with a Gun T-Shirt ?

What odds and statistics? Who is compiling these statistics? I spend a lot of time looking at publicly available FBI crime statistics. Where is the OC/CC category?

      CC with a Gun T-Shirt ?

Hahaha! No, just like I don't want to advertise my guns with NRA stickers on my windows that scream "rob me while I'm at work" I don't really wear any visible gun stuff. However, I have a 5.11 holster shirt and a 5.11 button up shirt that are great for CC.

      Zimmerman now accused of Molestation?

Yeah, Trayvon Martin molested me for years. I have just as much evidence as she does. In the end, it isn't a crime to follow somebody who is trespassing in your gated community, but it IS a crime to assault somebody who is following you while you trespass.

Is asking people about their carry weapon okay?

I always ask OCers what they are carrying because I like guns. I usually ask them WHY they are OCing to determine if they actually understand and care about our gun rights or if they are just seeking attention (guy in Speedway Kroger told me he did it to **** off the cops, and had no idea about...

An answer to "Just had a knock at the door... "

Don't people have screen doors? Don't the screen doors have locks? Police, door to door salesmen, neighbors...my screen door is locked and the glass slider is down. I had a 10 minute conversation with a Dish Network rep after Viacom dropped their stations from Directv through the screen after I...

      Military Doctrine: AK-47

To be able to engage a man sized target out to 300m. Kalashnikov was a Soviet tank commander who was wounded towards the end of WWII. He began working on a new design for a reliable infantry rifle that accepted an intermediate cartridge. His research found that the vast majority of infantry...

      Keeping guns and ammo seperate?

I've found that my firearms function significantly more reliably with the ammunition inside of them as opposed to being store separately. On the rare occassions when there are children in the house, the room with the guns is locked and my carry gun is on my hip.

Interesting Transfer Fee issue I just saw

I've only ever done a transfer on my Arsenal AK, and that was because nobody in the area keeps them in their inventory regularly. I checked all the area gun stores first. I find it funny that people think a business should support a transaction that is basically giving business to a competitor.

      A Gun In The Shower?

I have a window sill that holds mine just outside my shower.

      My Preacher/Pastor carrys

Fine by me. We can use all the shepherds we can get. Obviously the pilgrims didn't mind. Just hope they would have the sense not to shoot into the congregation and let us take over with a clearer backstop should the need arise.

Know of any Dragons Breath Rounds?

Sounds about as fun as having a can shooting competition with revolvers and using .357 shotshells without the other guys knowing.

      What's the deal with Kimber?

My dad's short barrel .45 shoots better than his full sized XDM .45. They are great pistols.

      AK47 accuracy

I put a mil dot scope on my Arsenal SGL21. Zeroed at 100m, shot it and measured bullet drop at 50, 150, and 200m. I was shooting headshots on a silhouette target at 200m over and over.

      Double barrel AR

If there were two different triggers it wouldn't be considered a machine gun. Think double barreled shotgun.

      Slide Fire AR15 stock??

Had one on my AK. Tons of fun but I don't leave it on there. You can keep a 30 rounds on a silhouette at 25 meters, but the stock is uncomfortable if you do much prone shooting.

When visiting New Friends and Family

If I was going to somebody's house I hadn't met, you better be certain I'm carrying and not saying a word. If we've met, they know I carry anyway. If they say I can't, then guess I won't be going to their house anymore. Don't trust anybody who wouldn't trust me with a gun. Be polite, be...

      DPMS AR15

My brother and dad just bought one each. So far they have been excellent rifles.
