I want to put a sling on my shotgun but it doesn't have any mounts or studs on it. I have a Stevens Model 67 Series E that I bought a week ago and I'm having trouble looking for a way to put a sling on it. imgur: the simple image sharer
I bought one Friday and I was wondering if there are any problems they are known to have, how I can find out how old it is and just any kind of info about it.
So from what I've seen in this thread so far is that some people are against people being FORCED to learn another language but are for people being FORCED to learn English, FORCING companies to only do business in English and FORCING people to accept and assimilate into American culture. I don't...
I love mine and always have fun shooting it. It is pretty light and not too big of a rifle which is great since my hallways aren't the biggest in the world so I use mine for HD. The magazines used to be pretty easy to find and were pretty cheap, like $15 for a 15 rounder and $15 for a 30...
I've shot about 350 rounds of Tula through my M1 Carbine and never had a problem. The ammo gets my rifle really dirty and I spend more time cleaning it.
I want to go hiking when the weather get a bit nicer but I don't really know where to go. I want to stick to Lake and Porter counties but I am willing to travel if it is worth it.
I want to get a 12 gauge but until then Ill use the M1. I found a scope mount for my M1 that doesn't require me to replace the rear sights, so I plan on putting a small scope on the M1 and seeing how that works.
I bought one box because I've heard really good things about it and I need more HD ammo. Since I use my M1 for HD I'd rather not use FMJ rounds. I just wish I was able to find cheaper soft point ammo.
The soft point ammo is usually 20 rounds per box and the FMJ are packed 50 to a box from what I have seen. The prices are ridiculous, a box of 50 FMJ that used to cost $25.99 goes for $39.99.
I went there today to look around at one .22 handguns and spotted a few boxes of Speer LE Gold Dot soft point ammo priced at $34.99 for a box of 20. This is the first time I have spotted .30 Carbine anywhere in a while.
Mine is a Universal, the earlier ones are the good ones, they are like 80-90% USGI compatible, the later models are known to have problems. Mine is one of the earlier models made between 65-66 and works just fine and never had any problems.
