I have an E9 - almost the same pistol as the K9 according to Kahr (I called them to ask them about spare parts availability). This is the most accurate pistol I own. It shoots superbly and has never failed to fire and cycle. It's a beautiful pistol as well. There are versions of the K9...
If he's not interested in weight, I can recommend the CZ75-B or the Taurus PT92(choice of letters here).
I have a few dozen handguns, and i'd not shot my CZ in a year. I got it out to the range. It holds 16 +1. I have to admit, everything good people
say about the CZ75 is true. It's...
I feel a 380 shooting something like Buffalo Bore is a real option for self defense. I have a Sig P238 and it's been super reliable for me (100 percent). It's light, has a real safety, shoots like a creampuff and has a super trigger. Some people have had real problems with the magazines and...
I have to agree. I got one just like the photo in 9mm and it's the best plastic pistol I own. Simply a great pistol with super safety features and terrific smooth trigger. The 3.8 barrel seems not to give up much of anything to the longer versions.
I have 45 and 9mm 1911's. I enjoy the 9mm a bit more than the 45 due to the cost of the 9mm ammo. The 9mm is a bit easier to shoot, but it's not that much of a difference. The 45 is a pretty easy round to shoot through a 1911.
I have CT grips on my S&W 642 and my Ruger LCP. I have another brand of laser sight on my Ruger SR9. All in all, a great accessory for your shooting pleasure.
I have a Taurus 92AFS and it's a fantastic pistol. The trigger is incredible and it's NEVER failed in any manner. It's a beautiful firearm and you'll be proud to own it. I have the Beretta 92 and it's pretty much a Taurus and vice/versa.
I say get the Taurus.
The G26 is very snappy, the 27 even moreso. I have strong hands and wrists and my 26 jumps around. I'd just keep shooting it and get used to it. It won't feel that snappy after a few hundred rounds.
If you really have trouble with the 26, the other Glock models won't feel that much...
I have both. The Bersa is easy enough to carry, it's not a pocket pistol however. It IS a great little pistol however and will be the better defense and range pistol. The only redeeming factor the LCP has is that you can put it in a pocket and carry it.
Shooting the LCP is not very...
I purchased one with my SR9 and it's really nice. You can actually see it on a sunnny day. The SR9 comes with a coupon for about 100 off or something so i went ahead and got it.
It's really much more visible than red laser light.
I've been shooting my Judge with the new Federal self defense shells and they are great! The pellets stay pretty tightly grouped at 30 feet. A super defense load.
Also, it's an amazingly accurate revolver with 45LC. Amazing for a Judge anyway. I can keep a 3 inch radius at 10 yards with 45...
I have a dark blue Taurus Judge with gold accents and I think it's beautiful. I think the 1911's are very nicely done as well. I've always liked a little flash.
i shot my judge with the new personal defense shot shells and they are awesome. Seriously. Also, i shot a box of 45 long colt and the revolver is pretty accurate at 10 to 15 yards. If you had to shoot a human at that distance you're looking at very competitive accuracy compared with other...
Redneckpastor: That is one of the best posts i've seen in a gun forum. Great advice and insight. +P 9mm ammunition packs a big wallop and the round count is going to be several more per magazine than a 40cal. I believe, after shooting thousands of rounds, that a 45 cal bullet will do more...
i have 2 and they've both been perfect with about 1000 rounds each. I carry the PM9 almost exclusively. My opinion is that the DAO trigger on the Kahr is about the best in the business, if not the best.
