      Cell Phones Questions

      Have messed with Sprint, ATT and Verizon. While definitely not cheaper, Verizon works best for me in the IND-FLA corridor. Only complaint is the occasional 'parking' of phone calls, i.e. incoming calls get sent to voicemail at peak hours - my guess is that the network traffic handling gets...

      Sent my bride down to James R. Heath in Acton for NRA training a couple years back; big mistake . . . now she shoots better than i do!!!!! Seriously, he's got a great course - highly recommended for new firearms people.

      Crummy electrolytic filter capacitors (high equivalent series resistance) rampant in these charger cubes . . . glorified noise makers, in my opinion. Good linear power supply plus current limiting circuitry works better, if you've got the time to monkey therewith - W9DAG

      if you've got plenty of time and don't mind the mishaps incident to hiking in misc. bad terrains, you might try geocaching (.com) with said GPS. Glorified hide and seek, but good way to shake down the receiver, get some fresh air, and see the sites . . .
