      The owner of my local shop said the faster twist was for the 300 gr bullets, but the 240's seem to fly the same from both guns for me.

      Anyone know why marlin lever 44's have a 1 in 38 twist while rugers 44 carbines have a 1 in 20 twist? And why the big difference?

      Aren't all guns test fired before they leave the factory anway? If so, then there are no truley unfired guns out there at all.

      I think it states it clear in the regs. 4in min barrel and .243 or larger with min a case 1.16 in. So a .243 or .270 or .308 or 30-06 and so on Encore handgun with a 15 in barrel is legal. Also the usual .357 .44 revolvers as long as they has a 4 in min barrel.

      I just bought two new camo jackets yesterday with my christmas gift cards. We wear them the same reason someone will wear a $90 polo with an alligator on it. Because we want show our interest.

      If you want to kill a deer with no recoil in you gun go with the 357 marlin.

      I used to have a .54 cal that I shot round balls out of with 75 grains and it knock the down in their tracks at that range.

      Yes the picture does look a little fishey but I would love to see a deer that big in the woods. Opps had to save and zoom to see rope.
