I'd suggest you check out a local gun instruction course. There are several instructors on this site that can clear your mind.
Some Sheriff's Dept.'s like Morgan offer classes from time to time that are centered on gun carriers' responsibilities and when and when not to shoot etc.
I suppose gangs are branching out...heck, I've noticed Vincennes getting a little rougher over the past 10 years...or maybe I've just grown a little more aware of my surroundings?
I like my LGS's. There are at least 6 within less than 20-30 minutes from me and go to them all. Plainfield Shooting Supplies, Bradis, Leathers Limited, Guns and Ordinance, Indy Tactical, and the new one in Martinsville-not sure the name. I've bought from each on except the new Martinsville shop.
I agree with a lot of what this guy is saying. I agree we need to take aim at educating the public on all of the options that are actually available for those suffering mental illness, and THEIR FAMILIES. I am not sure all high school and college students should be run thru a state sponsored...
Just keep in mind when you are carrying in other states, some of them REQUIRE you to notify an officer that you have a gun on board whether it is pertinent to the stop or not. Know the local laws.
I'm wondering if the serial numbers on the gun can tell when it was manufactured, where is was made...etc. Thats the only reason I can figure why someone would want them. Maybe you have some guns this dude really wants and he just has his blinders on??? Who knows?
