I think Ballistol is the only one that is safe to get on your skin..soldiers even used it to treat wounds. Probably the best all around cleaner, lube, protector...and for the environmentalists- it is not harmful to the environment.:rockwoot:
Welcome to Ballistol USA!
The days of unregulated online gun sales are coming to an end. For one, there's more money to be made by the govt. in closing down private sales...and honestly, that's what it's going to come down to.$$
I would venture to say, more crimes are commited with guns bought online/privately than at...
Shot in the keester
Some supergenius shot himself in the ass yesterday at a movie theater, during the movie...now we not only have to look out for 'crazyguy' but 'butterfingers' as well.
Hmmm, i guess thats why i like the drive-in so much.
Ok, I guess I should ask, is it acceptable for a gun to do it? It seems UNacceptable to me.
It's not something you can typically test for in a gun store either.
I've seen this topic on other forums. I am just wondering how INGO weighs in on it.
Is it "common" for autoloading handguns to be able to stay out of battery? Example: With one in the pipe, full magazine. Pull the slide back about 1/4 inch or so(may vary) and slowly release...does it stay out...
I bought the 40 hoping I can buy a 9mm barrel (whenever they are available). I never found any definitive proof that a Shield 40 will accept a 9mm barrel as a "drop-in" but I do know the M&P 40c will shoot 9mm by just changing the barrel.
Time will tell...but if anyone knows for sure, let me know!
Ah, HOUSTON--we have a problem...I think we just hit a wormhole...the housing market is doing great and "ANYONE" can get a home loan.
Sorry, Im just bleeding purple today...ie sarcasm
You may have R.U.S.? Restless. Unloading. Syndrome. I'd check with the doc...there's probably a pill for it.
Sorry, I'm just feeling like a smart@@@ today...its me not you...not "me that unloaded your gun without you knowing" - "me:the smarta@@"
Makes ya want to check your weapon each time.
Where's this new range you speak of....my buddy and I have been looking for a good place to shoot around the Bloomington area.
Do you know of any other ranges in the Blmngtn area?
I've researched Taurus guns quite extensively- especially the 709. The thing I keep finding from the owners who have owned them and had no trouble with em is: they cleaned the daylights out of them straight out of the box...and I mean they pull the extractor and everything. Taurus guns are...
I carry my M&P Shield in a $7 Blackhawk IWB holster. It fits like a glove, I can draw quickly without yanking the holster too, and I can remove the holster and gun easily if necessary.
I've been looking at some of the Comp-Tac holsters lately.
