      Flying with a handgun

      I just got back from a trip with my Glock 19 in a hard plastic, locked case. They never said it had to be steel... going or coming.

      Improving my 1911

      I took my to a very reputable local gunsmith to make sure it was done right. Extended slide release, extended safety, extended mag release, beaver tail grip safety, aftermarket sights, beveled magwell, and Accu-Match barrel with compensator. She's a real tack driver now!

      P-32 and P-3AT

      When I had my 32, I never had any trouble at all. Was a pretty good EDC for me, but I just decided I want more robust firepower and upgraded to the PF9.

      Looks great! I wish I could do that, but I equate stippling a gun with those people engrave words on grains of rice! It's a wonder you're not blind by now! LOL

      Keep both, even if they only sit around in the safe. You don't want to live with the regret of selling a great gun (ask me how I know).

      Kel-Tec PF-9 considerations...

      I've got the OD frame with parkerized slide. The finish is great and the gun shoot flawlessly... even with the +1 extension, which some have said causes cycling problems.

      Compact 9mm

      My vote is for the Kel-Tec PF9 with +1 extension! Not high capacity, but definitely compact and concealable.

      Well, I know it's not NW Indiana, but Elmore's in Greenwood (south side of Indy) is definitely worth the drive! They built my IPSC race gun.
