I got an email from Bud's Gun Shop that has a Mosin Nagant for $92.00 from Century Arms. Anyone purchased one or have thoughts? They say working order and for the price that seems cheap.
Thanks
Anyone ordered from RRA lately? A friend of mine order a mid-length upper back on Sept. 1st and is still waiting. Initially the lead time was 30 days. He contacted this week and they are saying they are having delay issues. Just wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing issues.

Update: I tried putting the receiver in the freezer, hoping the metal would shrink, no luck. I tried a dental pick but broke the pick. I have a couple other suggestions, gonna try them this weekend. Will let you know how it goes.
I was building my AR lower last night and completely noobed the springs. I put the disconnector spring in the bolt catch, now the spring is stuck. Any suggestions on removing it? I tried to oil it up real good and couldn't get it to pop out.
Alright, I was at the 1500 this weekend and saw a vendor towards the left side of the room as you enter the main door. They had .22 conversion kits for the AR platform for $135 / $155. Anyone know the name of the vendor? I had my mind set on something else and forgot to get a card.
For my fall project I am looking at building an AR lower and put a 9mm RRA upper. My question to the forum, what should I be aware of when building the lower. I am guessing a trigger spring, hammer and possibly a different buffer in the stock. Am I missing anything? Do they make LPK in the 9mm...
I haven't been out to the range yet, was waiting on my red dot, which came yesterday. The MBUS lays flat and even with the optics can still see the front sight. I will update more after my trip to the range, hopefully, fingers crossed, soon. :) I looked around at all the other flip up rear...
@jp828108 - I decided to build my first one just to gain the experience and knowledge of putting one together. I like to tinker and understand how everything works, so this was the best option for me. With that being said, I have right at $800 with everything. I spent a little extra on the upper...
I finally finished my AR. I bought the last couple of accessories at the Indy 1500 this weekend. Overall a very fun experience at the build party and the process of finding the parts.

I have looked at several in local shops and a few at the build party last month. Problem is I don't want to pay the high prices locally or get the same answer all the time that there is a 60-90 day wait time. I could have waited for the 1500 next month but having built the lower got me excited...
Okay question #2 for the day. What is the best place to get a complete upper (5.56) online? I have been searching, I like the RRA but they have a 60-90 day lead time. I have this itch ever since the build party to complete my AR. Midway has a DPMS that looks decent and not a bad price. Thoughts?
Anyone been to the Bill Goodman show in Dayton, OH? I was thinking about going this weekend. I am looking for a complete 5.56 upper for my AR. Thoughts?
Thanks,
Kris
I vote 4 and I say you build it. I just built my first AR and it was a lot of fun. Might see if INGO is having another build party anytime soon. Awesome time!!
I have a S&W Model 39-2 that is causing me some problems. A buddy brought the gun over for me to look at because it was not cocking correctly. I field stripped the gun and the first thing I noticed was the guide rod in the main spring was broke. The end that sits in the groove on the underside...
