Great shooting with everyone this weekend. Next time let's try for some cooler weather. Big thanks to all the instructors for their time and efforts. Loved the way Loren told his stories. Nigel, we never got the opportunity to compare rifles - next time for sure. Congrats to the two new...
Great event Jeff. I enjoyed working it, lots of great people working as RO's. Mark and Patty from GSSF were great people to work with also. My shooting wasn't so good but will be better next time as this was my first GSSF event. I will put it on the calendar and plan to volunteer again.
Great job. I shot terrible - last time for the 22 pistol, going to 9mm next time. I swear someone superglued those plates to the rack!!! Duela Texas Star stage is the work of an evil genius! I definitely want to try that one again.
I was there. Second time thru the class. My wife just got her LTCH and I wanted her to take the class.
Nice to meet everyone and put faces to names of some INGO folks.
Had a great time as usual. Always fun in Tom's squad. I would like it if someone could check my score on stage 3. I thought I had a good run there and was told my total was 151 not 181. Just keeping track for personal bests etc. Thanks for posting the scores so quickly.
Last 1500 I saw Remington 525 packs for $75 & $80 - totally insane. Dicks & Walmart prices are reasonable when you can find it. Keep in touch with your LGS as they will sometimes get some in. Check Rural King if one in your area.
2nd time for FNS. Great time, improved my performance. Greg and Allen, great to meet both of you. Greg, don't worry about 1st time, you will do better. I met some new people, had fun and improved - can't ask for much more than that. Great job by Tom as RO for our squad and great job by...
Ditto on that. M son and I had a great time. Everybody friendly and helpful. The R.O. was very helpful. Almost could not continue due to laughing so hard when my single shot took down 2 steel plates!
The ladies only class at Eagle Creek does not require latch. Seems popular and held several times a year. They open next weekend and should have a class soon.
Doing the math is good idea. Let's see 174000 rounds and 295 agents = about 590 rounds each. Last I knew each agent was required to practice and certify with their firearm monthly requiring about 50 rounds minimum. 12 months x 50 rounds = 600 rounds required to maintain qualification. Where...
Was in there Monday evening. No 9mm except for a couple of boxes of makarov (sp?). They were giving out numbers to be helped at the counter with 8-10 peple waiting in line. Saw at Ruger SR22 about $40 more than at the 1500.
Left eye, right handed. Taught myself to shoot pistols left handed. At lefty my aim is a little better but at cost of some speed. Had to modify my stance slightly for either.
For rifle I still prefer righty -feels more natural- but I am working on left handed shooting. Lefty still feels...
