I still don't understand how he could possibly get a fair trial with so much of this case in the media. A change of venue will help a little bit, but not much.
Maybe they should have an Amish jury.
Is this something that is open to any member of the NRA or do you have to be invited or something? I am a member but I never really read through all of the junk they constantly mail me.
I've always been told that leaving pressure on a spring does not wear it out. The moment of compression (putting rounds into the magazine) is where the wear is. I have no idea if this is true as I'm not a physicist but it makes sense to me.
I've shot magazines that have been loaded for 2 years...
The only thing left of the bodies on the sea floor are pairs of shoes. Sea life ate the people and then the bones decalcified into the sea, so there's just a bunch of shoes down there. Kind of creepy!

Bit off topic but I had something strange happen at Wilbur Wright a few years ago. I was sighting in an AR on the 25 yard range and the range officer shows up to put up some new backstops. He just ignored me and walked out into the range and started working as I'm firing. I stopped and unloaded...
Sad that you cant scan while mobile or sad that I'm not into amateur radio?
Honestly I do enjoying learning about all of the aspects of radio, I'm just not a big talker. I tend to be quiet in my daily life so talking on the radio would be a bit strange for me.
You can have a scanner in your car if you have an amateur radio license.
I really don't have much interest in amateur radio but I studied and got my license so I could scan while mobile legally.

I just try to avoid it all together. I tend to only go to the range during off hours.
I broke that rule yesterday and was reminded why I have that rule to begin with.
The guy in the booth next to me at Popguns kept having issues with his 1911. At one point I looked over and he was standing at...
Maybe people go to court just because of the "if the cop doesn't show up, the judge will throw it out" thing that always gets thrown around on forums. :dunno:
What ticks me off the most is having my time wasted. I applied for a job with AT&T installing uverse.
The first step was to apply, then a few days later I got an email to take an online test, a few days later ANOTHER online test. I was then finally given the privilege of driving to downtown...

OC'd my Sig P229 in a serpa retention holster all day yesterday. I had not open carried in some time but I was in business clothes (suit pants, shirt, tie) due to some job interviews. So I thought hey why not open carry since I'm dressed so well.
Had lunch with my wife at Penn Station in...

Maybe he was just a nice guy? :dunno:
