This looks good. I have a question for pf9 owners. Do you have any issues with actuating the mag release inadvertently while firing? Is this so an operator error? Does anyone else have the same problem?
I didn't know if the company car thing would be like the, "you can have it in your car at work" thing. Thanks guys. Looks like the Mrs. will have to take care of it while I'm away.
Couldn't agree more. He got it out of my nightstand, so I technically never handed him anything. :):
I informed him it was loaded when I told him where it was, so he knew. He just isn't experienced with firearms.
I'm going to the Chicago area on business... with my boss... in a company rented car, and my boss doesn't know I carry normally, and the company has a strict "no firearms" policy.
I know that I can have a firearm in the hotel at which we are staying, but my question is, should I even bother. I...
Let me add to my count...
My brother came over to watch the game and asked to see my new purchase. He then proceeded to wave it around while talking with his hands. I informed him it was loaded. He said, "So, the safety is on right?" I replied with, "There is no safety, so if you wouldn't mind...
I oc'd to kroger, pier 1, and goodwill today. I felt far more comfortable than I did in the beginning. Practice and consistent carry are proving to ease the discomfort. I did get a few looks and only one person would approach me from my right (strong side) side, and that was an employee...
So, I OC'd after work, like usual. I was meeting some friends at the Old Point Tavern downtown. As we were walking from a buddy's house (I'm not paying for parking) I was getting lots of strange looks from pedestrians. Walked into the bar, greeted our friends and ordered. One of our friends...
I talked to a buddy in the IN Gov, don't ask me what he does, all I know is he works very closely with the mayoral candidates. Either way, he confirmed, like I thought he would that the lifetime LTCH isn't going anywhere, in fact, he mentioned an addition to the state constitution that gives...
I heard it again today, that Indiana will stop issuing lifetime LTCH's. This time it was due to the fact that Gov. Daniels will be leaving office soon, and he was the reason for them in the first place. As I have my LTCH it doesn't effect me, but I just wanted to be sure to let everyone know to...
I am actually using a holster I got for my Walther p22 for draw practice. It's a cheapie off ebay, but it's nice enough nylon. The ebay seller was called holsterman. It came with a removable belt clip, belt loops on both sides, and a removable tension strap, but the button on the strap broke...
I thought he sounded like my grandpa. Lol
There is the problem I'm having... I think. I'm 5' 6" and weigh about 200 lbs depending on what time of day you ask. I have a large frame, so carrying such a small gun looks like a large cell phone holster. I'm still going to carry it, as it is the...
That's because it's a Glock.:):
I could see carrying a p22, mine looks and feels like, to put it in my wife's words, a big boy gun. So it would be perceived as a real defensive weapon. And I don't want to start a caliber discussion, and don't get me wrong, I don't want to get shot by any...
I know it's physically possible to OC any gun, but my question is, does OC-ing my pf9, a gun obviously designed for CC, automatically revoke my man card?.... excuse me, my proud ingo card? (sorry ladies, didn't mean to leave you out). What are your thoughts? Be honest, I'm looking for honest...
A friend at work told me about a long gun rack that fits them on the ceiling, so you still have access to them/storage of them, and keep them out of view.
I haven't been carrying long, but I know what I would day to all of these. My favorite that I've gotten is, "those are registered right!?!" And, of course the question about what I do... "I'm in the compliance business." Then smile and walk away.
