I know several guys were waiting for Remington to make a run of 357 Maximum brass. I received an email stating they have some in stock. I lucked into some this spring so I am passing this along.
Remington 357 Maximum Unprimed Brass 100/bag - Natchez Shooters Supplies
I bought this for an encore pistol barrel that I never use (not one round :(). The previous owner bought it new and put it on an Encore .243 barrel. He said it has was used for 10-15 shots. I can find no marks, looks new. Comes with Weaver style rings. You are getting a like new scope that...
My wife wanted an upgrade from her Knight muzzleloader for firearms season and I was looking for a low maintenance deer cannon. Decided to go 357 Max to keep the recoil low but still have some reach. I received my barrel from MGM a couple of days ago and put it together. Haven't shot it yet...

To clarify, I am talking a 6 X 24 X 1" tube. I was thinking more along the lines of using the upper range (24X) for the bench work. The neighborhood of $300 is probably the max i am looking to spend, any ideas?
Do any of you guys use higher powered scopes strictly for load development? I have been thinking of buying an affordable 6X24 just for the purpose of shooting groups, then switching back to the old trusty 3X9 for hunting. Any recommendations on a cheap scope that will hold up for bench work?
I know Remington does a single run every year but man, this PCR craze has made finding brass difficult. Anybody sitting on some extra Max brass or know where to find it?
