Glad I brought several cold beverages today! The match was a great combination of speed and field courses. Got to shoot with some real veterans of the sport and absorb some of their knowledge.
Thanks for taking the pictures and posting them! Bring that CZ out Turnandshoot4 and we can show them Czechnology at work:). Had a great time on Sunday.
When I was 14-15, before a drivers license, we strapped our shotguns on our backs and rode our bikes a couple of miles to different woods to hunt. Never had a problem but that was on roads less traveled.
I learned a lot from this match. After every match or practice session I write down in a journal my positive and negative feelings about my performance. Shooting prone, which I have near zero experience with, is a different discipline. I also voluntarily shot SHO on a stage which is a first...
On my hunting grounds I usually start to see chasing around the last week of Oct. and the first week of Nov. Last two seasons my first archery kill has been on Nov. 8. Buck last year and freezer doe the year before. I have killed deer first day of early archery but I rarely see bucks moving...
CZ-TS is my limited gun. IF you haven't already, check out CZ Custom Shop. I have the aluminum grips on mine and really like them. Magwell also. Sweet gun, I love mine!!
Look around enough and you can find a Knight inline for $100-$125. I have been shooting Knight inlines for 10-12 years and have been very satisfied. I have a Wolverine MK-85 and a Disc Elite shooting 300gr. SST's, 100gr. 777, 209 primers. Never needed the magnum charges to kill deer.
Thanks for the insight. After my initial classification I have tried too hard to live up to my own expectations. Making B class in limited really put the pressure on me to perform. I've been trying to push the limit in practice then throttle back a little during a match to maintain some control.
