I've been carrying my BG for a couple years now, and really enjoy it. I went with a Recluse pocket holster, and wear it in my front pocket. The weight is light enough that even is slacks or soft shorts, that it is not uncomfortable.
As you will read in many reviews the trigger pull is a little...
This is an excellent point to consider when looking at these two guns. I agree with everything that has been mentioned above about other factors as well. I strongly suggest shooting both of these if you can before purchase. I was able to spend some time with a friends Sig at an indoor range just...
While they are at it, they should take a hard look at those revolvers as well. I've seen some pretty quick shooters on those as well, that would rival any semi auto shooter out there...
Give me a break, the gun is not the issue, it is the moron behind it.
This is making the rounds on e-mail as well. I got it a few times today from different people. Glad to see it might get spread around a little, and we will never see it on our news...
They will never get it, nor do they want to understand. Why can a logical person not understand that when you ban or limit a particular gun that the only people that will be affected are the law abiding people? Criminals will always find a way if there is a need. They will also not follow the...
I also truely enjoy by Storm. I had the chance to shoot it last week for the first time, and was very impressed. These are great little carbines. I mounted a combo HU red dot with laser, and was very impressed with the patterns I could leave.
This has to be one of the best home defense...
Wow, that was an amazing read. How do we find and restrict people that are challenged like this? How do we test them to understand just how broken they are and what they are ultimately capable of?
As a father, I can see where this would almost be impossible for a parent to do, I admire what...
I'm betting she doesn't understand the law, and that it is completely legal to oc with a license. She saw the sidearm, and no badge, and figures you are doing something wrong.
I Always wonder when I'm out how many others are ccw? Wouldn't it be neat to know at any given time? Given the number...
The ammo seems to be pretty pricey, and not very common, so what would be the advantage of owning a 10mm? I don't see them gaining much traction?
Cheaper than Dirt had a deal on a 1911 chambered in 10mm for one of their Christmas specials, that was tempting. It at least made me start...
I've got a .25 that I will carry in the pocket, or in a pack while cycling. I use it for the lower weight, and smaller size. I'd always prefer having one of my larger guns, but weight and size become an issue.
1911ly might be right about trying out a 1911. The slim profile usually is a winner with the ladies, and it is hard to beat the ergo. Maybe one of the new Colt Mustangs, or similar smaller 1911 variants would be a great solution to the cc your friend is looking for.
If you are looking for a pocket gun then take a hard look at the 380s that are out now. I own a Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 380 with the integrated laser. I also purchased a Recluse pocket holster for it, and when in the pocket it gives the shape of a square wallet. I've been very pleased with...
Ive never considered the lever action for a HD gun, but it makes perfect sense. I have a Browning lever action chambered in 44mag, and it would sure do the trick. Thanks for bringing this up, I need to do some practicing. I also like the thought of clearing the house with the hand gun, and rifle...
Sorry to crash the thread, but is the 938 small enough to use a pocket holster with? I've been very impressed with the 238, abut have not handled the 938.
Thanks,
