the barrel is a ruger hammer forged bull barrel, the scope is a leupold vari-x IIc 3-9x40mm,the stock is a predator laminated right hand thumb hole, the trigger guard has vc stamped on the bottom.

i now have filed all the paper work and the finger print card with the fbi. got a letter from them saying they got it and was fowarding it to nics. called nics after a couple of weeks and got a recording saying it was taking 140 days to respond to my request. isnt the gov a wonderful bunch to...
i havnt given up... pissssed but... waiting for a reply from nics on correcting the delay. i think its a bad guy with the same name... sent my finger print card, etc in to the fbi but they say it takes 140 days... damn ..i was hopeing to do some shooting this year... oh well **** happens
the m1 garand
this is purely nostalgia but..... my favorite is the greatest military weapon ever made... the m1 garand.... i qualified with the m1 in army basic training at fort knox, ky in 1959.... at the old age of 17 years....;)
