I'm looking for a new double action wheel gun. I'm wanting a .357 with a 5 or 6 inch barrel, the only one I've had a chance to look at is a Ruger GP100. I want to look at some others before I decide and would like some input from owners or past owners.
My AR has a 1 in 9 twist and I shoot a hornady 50 gr. boat tail z-max and load with 28 grains of CFE-223 powder and my gun shoots 5 shot 3/8 groups at 100 yards. I've shot 16 yotes this year with it and all drop where they stand. So far it is my favorite load for my AR.
I'm wanting to load some 223 with a 50 grain v-max bullet and either varget or CFE223 powder but I am having trouble finding any load data. I'm going to buy hornady's manual but I'm not sure if it will have data for the cfe223 powder. Any suggestions will be great help thanks.
I have a Ruger mark III 22/45 with the treaded barrel and the picatinny rails and i have a small Bushnell red dot mounted on it. The problem is that I can't find a holster to fit one with an optic. Does anyone know if someone makes a holster to fit my gun? I have thought about having one...
I bought a UTG that has both red and green. for the money it work pretty well. I originally bought it for a rimfire rifle but now it goes between my 3 1/2 inch turkey shotgun and after turkey season it goes on my mossberg 500 for home defense.
I'm wanting to reload for my Ruger super blackhawk .44 mag and are wanting some suggestions on what powder, how much to use and bullet weight and style.
