IMO, There are arguments to be made on both sides. I do support the right of an employer to set the terms for employment and fire an employee for violating those terms. But he was off duty at the time and therefore should have been free to exercise his 2A right. To me, it's two rights...

It would sure be nice if the legislators would realize that making a place "gun free" will only keep law abiding citizens from bringing guns there. Legislation only affects the people that obey the laws and does nothing to stop criminals. They just don't get it.

Agreed - a couple of big dogs will always be part of my security system. Had an ADT door to door salesman come to my house a while back. My German Shepherd and Great Dane were at the door before he even knocked. When I got to the door he said "guess you don't need an alarm" and walked away...lol.
My wife has been following this live from the beginning. The story changed so many times she lost count. They are in such rush to be the first to break the news that they don't even bother to verify it.
I keep my G27 (EDC) holstered in it's N82 iwb sob, G19 with night sights and light on the night stand and HD 12 gauge beside the bed. My 200 lb Great Dane is my early warning system and will keep the BG busy and distracted till I get there.
