Picked up a couple of boxes of rio royal shotshells on no sales tax Saturday for like 11 bucks - .75 rebate... Not too shabby. Starting to build a pile of those rio royals, lol
It says in-store only sales. You can't buy it online.
.22 is scarce for many reasons. People are scared, buying ammo, .22 is very cheap, easy to hoard lots of, etc. Google search it.
There was someone asking 200 bucks for a brick at the Orlando show in Florida. 39.99 won't knock you dead at least. Most were around $50 and some were at 75 (the mini mags).
Hopefully the bottom will fall out of .22 prices from overproduction when things get caught up. Flippers stuck with like...
Well, the ammo guy in the box tried to sell me a box (10) of winchester 12 gauge PDX1 defender shells for 40 bucks. I asked why the price was so high... He says fair overhead? He says his cost is $26. 26 bucks my butt.
I happily walked another 200 feet and paid $14 at the next ammo booth.
There was a good stock of .22 (I don't remember what brand. Old white box I have never seen, never heard of the brand. ) in boxes of 50 for 6 bucks up front and to the left as you walk in. A few people had the winchester m-22 bricks for $55. Saw a bucket o' bullets for $135. All cci Mini-mags...
Wow, good deal on cheap ammo, but that stuff won't cycle, tried to fire them off quickly on my marlin .22. Jam/eject problem every 2 or 3 shots. Loaded it up with cheap thunderbolts and got off 18 shots in 5 seconds.
Brought a friend along and got 2. Good deal.
Bradis has .22 thunderbolts...
The super extras were 3.50 apiece and the SSS were 5.50. I don't like super extras so I just bought a box of the SSS.
Took this at Walmart yesterday just to prove that it did in fact happen.
