I live near a bordering state. I can take my pistol across state line but if it were an SBR I would have to get permission to enter. Is just one of the reasons I chose pistol.

I have a BCM Mod 4 on one of my guns but if I had to do it over again I would probably go down a size. I can see where it can help in the cold wearing gloves though
HK USP .45 V1. Large gun but good for home defense. Has a decocker with a safety. You can decock the hammer for a long double action pull and also flip the safety on top of that. Pretty safe.
Owning ar's and losing money in them seems to be part of the norm I think. We put aftermarket parts in them and then get tired of the setup and usually sell them for less. These aren't Colt revolvers so take a hit and move on.
Just to add some info to this thread regarding inked fingerprints, the local UPS store did mine that I used to get my UPIN. It saved me some headache as the county sheriffs office quit doing them and the company they referred me to required an appointment.

Here in Clark County they would not do it and referred me to some company I would have had to set up an appointment. I later found out The UPS store will do an ink and card fingerprint.
