While am all for the introduction of rifles for hunting here in my beloved state, the specific chambering is a bit funky. Hopefully it is NOT clarified so individuals could use chamberings with those bore diameters.
I can't say one way or the other in terms of value, but to say that a proper threading of the muzzle will destroy the harmonics and accuracy of the barrel is complete and total nonsense. A properly coaxially indicated , turned and threaded barrel will have absolutely no adverse effects on...
Not buying, but I likely will be spinning up a 300 WM. I've got a spare 700 L/A magnum action, a 1-10 twist M24 contour Hawk Hill Custom barrel blank. 208s , and 230 Hybrids should do the trick for bambi! Lol!
Unsafe? No. Potential to harm accuracy. Yes. More so in a button rifled barrel. Will it? Who knows. I've seen plenty of cut and button rifled barrels contoured after the fact, that seemingly had no adverse effects.
