      Beretta PX4

God bless grandpas. My wifes grandpa who sadly passed away last week gave me my very first gun for free as I was writing him the check!! Ruger MKII 22/45 that I will always cherish:) I also have a px4 that I LOVE. Feels great in the hand and is pretty darn accurate! Good luck with your choice!

You have to be freaking kidding me!!!!

I would agree..what a joke. I stumbled upon ONE good deal there and jumped on it. An unfired beretta px4 storm listed as used for $379..figured I'd buy it on the spot because the next day they might jack up the price! The price of their 9mm ammo has gone down though..now they are competitive...

      Sig P210 unfired value?

Hey all- could anyone here tell me an accurate value for an unfired sig p210? Ive searched on the internet and have come up with such a range of prices its hard to tell what is accurate. This includes the factory box, manual and target used to check accuracy. I wanna say it is from 1953 but I...

George H. Perkins, Master Gunsmith and friend R.I.P.

Thank you for your heartfelt words about who we referred to as 'Papaw'. As you can imagine, the family is struggling to cope with this all too sudden loss. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers and your post says alot to the kind of man he was. He will certainly be greatly missed by us all. CJ

Longtime local gunsmith George Perkins has passed

It is with a very heavy heart that I report to INGO the loss of a wonderful gunsmith and a beloved member of my wife and I's family. He suffered a sudden heart attack yesterday afternoon and did not suffer. I know there are are many of you on INGO who have had your guns worked on by him over the...

Shotguns found in cars at Fairfield Jr./Sr. High School

That could be the the case. Sorry, I posted my reply after only reading about 3 pages. Should have kept reading to see if this was brought up already.

Shotguns found in cars at Fairfield Jr./Sr. High School

What are the odds he could get the charge thrown out on the basis that the search may have been illegal since he is 18 and legally allowed to have cigarettes in his car? I remember when a kid in my high school had his car searched because they saw cigs in his car...this led to them finding his...

      School me on Berettas

I know you didn't ask about the px4 storm but in my opinion its a great pistol. I have had mine for a couple months and I am infatuated with it. Feels great in the hand, minimal recoil, accurate and if you can find a nice used one, its not to much damage on the pocketbook! They also offer a 'C'...

      good 9mms

That's a pretty vague question. It really depends on what you will use it for...cc , target practice, the nightstand gun. I'd add some parameters such as primary use, ideal size and price eange and I'm sure you will get many suggestions.

Was just in meijer on 37 and they had lots of varying calibrs of ammo. I picked up two boxes of winchester 9mm(100) ct for $24 ea.... only hours after paying $20 for at 50 ct of the same elsewhere today!

Are you by chance filming a sequel to "Super Size Me", ya know, that Spurlock guy who eats mcd's for every meal for an extended period of time? Just teasin:) All joking aside, I am glad to hear that they may have actually communicated amongst the department to clarify the issue of OC!!

      Driving to range without LTCH

I was just asking a simple question. There is no reason to be rude, obviously I am newer to this site and very much enjoy it so far. I had a conversation with a police officer and posted a thread about the conversation. If this is a topic that annoys you so much why don't you skip over it next...

      Driving to range without LTCH

Sorry to post back to back , It does state that you don't need a LTCH to take it to a place of repair....SO if you were going to a range that does gunsmith work you could probably get off on that technicality??? I mean I know the LTCH is the key here, I am just waiting on mine and hate looking...

      Driving to range without LTCH

See that is exactly what I have heard to (about you needing a ltch to go to the range) I have read the code over and over again and I always come up with the same answer, that you need the ltch for going to the range. I just found it interesting that this is what I'm being told, not trying to...

      Driving to range without LTCH

I know this has been discussed MANY times on here, yet we never seem to have a solid answer. I'm sure there are many people like myself who are waiting for their LTCH but like to drive out to the range every so often. From what I previously have heard you CANNOT put your gun in the trunk in a...

dont try to sell guns to gander mtn

I'll give ya $241:) in all seriousness though I think it goes without saying that any big box store would not be as flexible with pricing regarding buying OR selling. I'd feel jipped if they offered me that while they were selling others in much worse condition for that much! I've only dealt...
