      15k is a whole lotta cheese!! I remember lugging that thing around in the army and hating it... and that was when the ammo was free! feeding that beast on your own dime would cost a fortune...

      Which lower to keep?

      +1 on a forged lower being a forged lower. I mix and match all the time... no a whole lot of difference in any of mine. Customer service may be something to consider?

      sometimes it's hard to plan a build.. something new catches your eye and before you know it you're going a different route. I'm more of a re-design as I go guy I guess..

      I've always used serpa's but after reading through this thread and reading about so many negative experiences I feel a little less confident in defending them. I have had my finger slip into the trigger well when really sweaty and not wearing gloves during a draw (not a good feeling), but...

      Kydex holsters

      Big fan of the RCS IWB. I carry a p239 in one and you can hardly tell. I also have an LCP but haven't used it in anything other than a pocket holster, I may need to upgrade to kydex myself.

      NFA trust??

      going the trust route definitely alleviates some of the hassles (CLEO sign off and finger print cards), as for it speeding up the process I've heard the same but haven't had anything processed outside the trust route to know first hand.
