I think I just might get one now. I'd much rather get an aluminum lower with the traditional carbine style stock, but for all intents and purposes, this big polymer lower might actually make for a nice coyote gun.
The same way they think banning/restricting firearms for responsible citizens will magically take weapons out of the hands of criminals.

Overall he has made a very conservative first move. He knew not to ruffle too many feathers. Most of the EOs are hot air and not much different than existing laws.
The real fight is yet to come in congress.
How many times have we heard that from the president? How we need to "do the right thing for America" which just so happens to be whatever he is pushing at the moment.
It sure isn't. There's tons of people snapping up parts they have absolutely no interest in just because they think they can make a quick buck on it.
Unfortunately I'm competing with those vultures to get the last few parts I need, since I was midway into an AR build when the panic struck. :(
