      Almost all of mine are significantly older than I am. The oldest of which is a Savage Model 19, produced some time in the 1920s. Until I finish my latest build, my "newest" one is a 1948. Compared to me, I'm a 1980's model. :laugh:

      I don't know. When I'm plinking I like my old Savage. And the reason I want the AR is for coyote/predator, and .22 just won't cut the mustard for that one. Kind of like having a little 4-banger to drive around town, and a big heavy truck to do the dirty work. Each is right for their job...

      DPMS - Turning Tail

      I placed an order with them back way back in December and got the same result. They canceled it. When I called to ask them why, basically all I got was "That's the way it is. Too bad." and a less than friendly response. Definitely won't be going back to them anytime soon.

      As foolish as it may seem, I kind of get the same feeling. I think "Ooh, there's a nice _____...aw, but it's .22lr." Always feels like a bit of a letdown. ...kind of like seeing a 3/4 ton or 1 ton truck and finding out it's a gasser. :laugh:

      Daily Drivers

      No shame in that. I'm finally going to sell my 02 with 90k on it. Sips gas and was a great DD. ...but I moved on to a 2012 Ram 2500 ST diesel. Love it. Only thing I don't like is thieves trying to steal my DPF/DOC. :xmad:
