I have not seen an antler yet this year. A lot of does and a couple real big bodies. The turkey population is diong great tough. Several real nice toms in the area.
Looks like you are having fun with it. I tried to teach myself, it turns out that it was not my best skill. You are doing 100 times better than I ever did. If I ever got a hit at 10 yards it was pure random chance.
I'm probably in the minority but I wish the deer would move to the neighbors place. I raise sheep and the deer love the grain that I feed the sheep and they don't care what they have to tear up to get to it. To make it worse, they are too close to the sheep to get a safe shot.
I raise a small flock of Shetland sheep for hand spinning wool. Also pretty fair at making coyotes, racoons, and other annoyances disappear. Been taking a variety of gunsmithing home DVD classes just for fun. Might develop into something someday but just hobby level right now. Fontanette, Home...
I agree, Just the mention of a lawyer will probably be enough, but you do need to contact one to refer them to in case they try to call your bluff. Many lawyers will give an initial consultation free.
I have a set of grip blanks ordered to carve a custom set. Gold fill in the lettering would look good with the new grips or maybe gold plate the slide.
It's all personal preference, If the 20 feels right for you then it is right. There are advantages both ways but not a big enough difference to sway what feels best for you. Personally, I like a 16 for the best of both worlds but they are getting hard to find.
I had one years ago and loved it. One box of ammo to feed both the rifle and my revolver was a nice plus and it was a sweet shooter. Don't remeber now what I traded it for but I wish I had it back.
I personally prefer a 1911. Ammo is expensive, Gain the skills to make the first shot count and you don't need 100 more tries. If needed it doesnt take long to pop in a fresh clip.
Had a fun day trading. I got this Llama Minimax 45 for a NEF 223. Everythig seems to be in good working condition but I would like to dress it up some. Any suggestions...
