I'm under 30, and I like carrying my p238. But really like target shooting with the big revolvers. I'm thinking about adding a j frame to my collection pretty soon. I will probably carry it if it feels comfortable.
I am right eye dominant and generally shoot with that eye. I have tried shooting with both, but can only do it with a lot of concentration. I usually find myself reverting back to the right eye. I think it will take a lot of shooting to break the habit.
I grew up on the farm and started shooting with my dad at a very young age. The only class that I have taken was Hunters Education in the 4-H shooting sports program. I took shooting sports all 10 years of 4-H. I still continue to shoot with friends as often as I can.
I agree with the 1500 just because of the size. I have only been to two others, lafayette and kokomo. I have heard that tipton is pretty good and plan on checking it out this weekend.
I won't give anyone my reloads. If someone is interested in reloading and wants to shoot some. I will let them use my reloader with some instruction and supervision. After all that is how I got started.
I've have a para ccw .45 and think that the quality is great. It's a real good shooter. I've held a couple of the para 14-45s and didn't care for them. They were too wide for me. (I have small hands) if its comfortable for you I'm sure you would be happy with one.
