      I guess my main thought is that with the door closed and say an open drivers side window the gun arm has very limited range of motion without contorting your torso hard left, and the gun arm is going to be in a VERY awkward position to get a line out the drivers window.       It seems to me that left handed carrying in a driver's seat is a distinct disadvantage as the gun and the shooting hand is crammed against the driver's side door. I guess if a carjacker were to approach from the passenger side it would be less of a problem but still something to think about...
