Has anyone tried using brass bristled brushes on their stocks? I've heard that this will help cleanup any checkering, etc ... spots in the wood without damaging the wood.??
Well .... when I received it - someone had decided to "Paint" it brown. Yes ... I said "Paint" -- LOL!!! Not sure what the motivation is to paint a citori stock! I have a buddy working on stripping it down and redoing it - just thought I might pickup a cheap stock set to use in the field.
I've heard early-mid summer. It's interesting that when these manufacturers introduce new firearms, they never tell anyone when they will be available!! Not even the dealers!
You don't actually need a copy of the FFL - but be sure to save the FFL's 8 digits - or better yet - print a copy of the ffl ezcheck result to where you shipped the gun!
You need to get the FFL'S NUMBER and check it on the Web -- the FBI has a place to check the FFL address--> goto this web site:

You will need the first 3 numbers and the last 5 numbers of the FFL. If He won't give these to you - then don't ship him the...

Don't forget to check out the used guns when you go into a Gander store -- not all of the 'buyers' know what they have and some good deals can be found now and then. A buddy picked up a smoothbore Remington off the used gun rack for $138 otd!!

Not too bad -- Nickel cost should be around $285 on up. Dealer cost on a blued variation is about $15-$25 less than the nickel -- the duo tone is similar in cost to the blued variation.
Does anyone make an aftermarket stock for a citori 3 1/2" hunter model? Looking for synthetic in a any camo pattern - have searched the net but can't seem to find even one!!
The best way to handle it is to read others opinions, but take them for what they are: opinons! Everyone has them ... as the saying goes...
I prefer to have one of each caliber -- that way when my opinion changes, so does the caliber :)!!
