      The Chicago Handgun Law is going in front of the Supreme Court -- it's days should be limited since it violates the 2nd amendment!!!! FYI - I don't publish my license plate or anything - but I carry everywhere I travel!! BECAUSE MY CONSTITUTION ALLOWS ME TO!!

      Best way to strip wood stocks?

      If you have any checkering on the stock - my buddy uses a brass bristled brush to get down in and clean out those areas. Seems to work great and doesn't harm the wood.

      More info: the model 10's also had 25" barrels -- they have aperture adjustable sights w/target stocks. It's actually called a 'TARGET' model. They are very similar but I'm not sure how to tell the difference between the two!

      Looks like it might be a Model 19 - NRA -- they had 25" barrels and military style stocks. What is the approx serial #? That should help determine the model / year produced.

      Traveling by airline with a Rifle

      They will need to examine the rifle @ check-in to be sure there is no ammo w/the gun. Also - get a case that can be padlocked - then after inspection - they will allow you to padlock the case. And yes - You will feel weird and people will stare @ you walking into the airport w/a gun case!!

      There are two different options -- a long gun can be shipped between private individuals within the state of indiana. A handgun cannot be shipped to anyone except an FFL dealer - in state or not - a longgun can be shipped by USPS / UPS / FEDEX, ETC.... a handgun must be shipped via UPS / FEDEX...

      A buddy of mine has a Sig Mosquito and says of all the plinkers he's had - it's the LEAST accurate. His opinion is Browning Buckmark -- Mine is Ruger Mark III Hunter Model w/FLUTED barrel!! Looks AND shoots great!

      I was in Brown County last summer - my kids (10 & 7 yrs old) went on several of the trails - including trail 6 (which starts @ the nature center and wraps around the lake) -- they did fine but were a little tired once we returned.

      Does anyone know if Frontier Safe Company in Fort Wayne still makes safes? I purchased one about 7-8 years ago and would like to get another, but i heard they quit manufacturing them? If anyone knows of one for sale - don't buy it - just tell me where it's @!!!
