I don,t own a Rough Rider but I would try what has worked for you in the past with your other handguns.Seeing as how the sights are fixed all one can do is adjust their point of aim.Does that make any sense ?
In addition to Cowboy action, legally deer hunting in Indiana,you increase the effective range of the round by about 100 yards with the increased energy from the longer barrel and longer sight radius equates to better accuracy.Plus they are fun to shoot.
I own a Marli myself. I love it. I've never fired 38's through it.I also have a Puma in 357 and it shoots 38's just fine.I understand puma lever actions are now being manufactured in Italy instead of Brazil.Perhaps that is the reason for the new higher prices.
