I seemed more inclined to believe that the younger generation just won't answer these surveys truthfully. Gun owners in and of themselves are usually reserved, younger generations that are growing up with the age of the internet and knowing how some little tid bit of information can be used...
Does the ATF have minimum depth requirements or minimum number of flutes for rifling? I could see some just taking a scribe through a piece of brake line while twisting it and calling it DIY rifling.
Normally i would say they will probably get out of it. But if, IF they happened to do it in a county that is unfriendly to the gun control agenda i'm sure the prosecutor in that district could pursue some sort of charges.
I believe they have steel targets at every berm except 50. And for the pistol bays they have steel at all or all but 1 of the bays. I actually just got a membership out there last weekend. I scanned the list of range rules and the brochure they gave me. Brochure...
A couple months ago i was talking with a coworker about guns and he was saying how he would buy and sell guns all the time saying he had sold hundreds of guns. Then he drops this bomb on me: "Yeah if i couldn't find anybody to take the gun off my hands i would just go over to the flea markets in...
I will never buy any kind of smart gun. I have literally grown up immersed in technology. My preschool classroom had a computer in it. And i went down the rabbit hole so to speak and learned exactly how this stuff works, but also exactly how it fails, and how it can be defeated. I will never...
We need to figure out how to filter people of Islamic faith based on their beliefs. A very large portion of Muslims hold ideals that are wholly incompatible with our established rights and freedoms in the United States. I'm not talking 10 or 15% of some backwater district in a one off country...
I only saw 1 Chewy the whole time i was there and the costume was so generic i didn't feel a need to get a picture of it.
As for the old guys you had Brent Spiner (aka Data from Star Trek), Ian McDiarmid (aka The Emperor from Star Wars), and Ray Park was the young guy (aka Darth Maul from Star...
Unless they can prove that on paper the fees are going 100% towards NICS they can't just jack up the price. And honestly i think if someone took it to court they could challenge the NICS fee itself if you apply the same arguments people have about needing an ID vote and States only issuing IDs...
Whenever i see these kind of weapons up for auction i can never understand how people can buy these absolutely beautiful weapons and just never fire them. I just couldn't bring myself to leave a perfectly good firearm in a box for any longer than i absolutely had to.
Oh lord  Perhaps i should have worded that better. I did mind not being able to carry my own weapon, but it wasn't an option both because of convention rules and my costume. But seeing a visibly armed officer (not a rent-a-cop with a taser, but honest to god police) about every 50...
I just got home from the convention myself. From what i saw they weren't really checking weapons and absolutely no wanding or metal detectors. I know when i went to C2E2 a couple years ago all weapons had to be checked and have a blue zip tie on them to show they had been checked. I didn't...
I like the RFID concept in that you can actually keep it always on you. I wouldn't want to carry around those bulky magnets all the time. And if Tactical Walls gives you all the proper info to program your own RFID tags into their system you can use the button style tags you can put on your...
