Damn I won't lie I was deeply touched by that. I just turned into a weaping mess after that. Glad you posted that maybe it'll let a few remember that a lot more have sacrificed and done their duty for all of us to be here.
Wow. They may be overpriced and the gunsmith on the show may not know what to do but glad you don't judge people for what they look like or how they dress. I'm sure that "hoodlum" has a felony and causes all kind of trouble right?
Just to add on this I have a old 10/22 with a S/N of 120-***** and it is not listed but was made in 1980. I guess anything over the 119-***** for 1980 was carried over to 120-***** but not put on the list for that year.
Ruger 10/22 Serial Number History
This should help you - you want 126-47192 for 1985
A new one will run around $200 depending on the model. I don't think a "vintage" model will be much more than a used one from any year unless it is a very rare or collectable model.
It seems to me that more people talk about how they go bang every time they pull the trigger. Also more people talk about the great above and beyond no questions asked customer service. Yes they are big and ugly and are kinda treated like the fat girl you don't want to tell your friends...
Lmao is it just me but is 50k rounds a lot to shoot with just one gun. I guess I'm still somewhat younger but can't wait to put 50k rounds through all my guns. I hope Walther or S&W makes it right and gives you a new slide even though I dought they even shot that many rounds through one lol.
My first two handguns were Walthers (P99 and P22 getting a PPQ soon) and I can't say nothing bad about the P22, it fits nice in my big hand and shoots anything I feed it. I have had one for about four years now and haven't had any problems after the first 100 rounds or so.
You should be very proud. Way to go dad!!!! These memories will be priceless for you both. I'm still waiting on my 7 month old twins to get to that point but can't wait to take them camping and shooting.
