      Thanks all. I ordered the magnum cylinder, and looked for some magnum rounds while waiting for the cylinder to arrive. After a few stops....nothing. 22LR available everywhere, but no magnums. Is this common?

      I picked up a new Heritage 22 revolver from the local sporting goods store on sale for 99 dollars. Has a 6.5" barrel. A coupon came with it......send in 30 bucks and I can get a cylinder that fires 22 Magnums. Is there a big difference between 22 Long and 22 Magnum from a 6.5" barrel?

      All.....I just bought a Taurus Model 605 357 pistol for my wife. She is very comfortable with it and will start to use this as her carry pistol as soon as the permit arrives. What is the best and SAFEST way to carry this in a purse? Also, there is a small key that locks the hammer.....should...

      Speer plastic training bullets

      Thanks to everyone for the responses! I've heard of the wax but would be afraid of it melting and getting everywhere in the firearm. I'm going to try the Speer plastic in a 38 snub-nose revolver.

      Has anyone tried the Speer plastic training bullet? Looks like a simple way to shoot inside when the weather is bad.....also possibly good for training inside.

      If an AR is marked .223, then I cannot load it with 5.56, correct? Also, If it is marked 5.56, then I can load both 5.56 and .223, correct? Too much confusion on the web to get a straight answer!
