      How old is your EDC?

      XDM40 bought Oct 1 2011. I carry it every day, but I pray I never have to use it.

      Where are all the XDM or XD owners at?

      I have the XDM40 3.8 but on a full size frame. This is my EDC and I love it. I might look for something smaller to carry this summer.

      You can get the MOE in black also. The stock has a sling mount in the front, and the MBUS sights are worth the extra cost just by themselves.

      The gun section at the Dicks near my house is the smallest section in the store. I don't think they even have room for handguns. Support your local gun stores they are way lower on prices.

      Looking for our first handgun

      I have a safe(gun vault) on the nightstand next to my bed. You can keep your gun loaded, and the kids would not have access to it.

      I always use 2 3/4 8 shot target loads for trap. You can buy 100 bulk pack for about $20 at Meijer or Walmart.

      Sons first birthday

      I would be thrilled if he is more into guns than video games. I can not wait to take him hunting and fishing. It is sad to see kids not learning the skills we learned as kids.

      I guess now you can pay an extra ten dollars and get it in a couple of days. Might be worth it ,because it took me almost four months to get mine.

      My son turned one today. When he woke up from his nap, I was in the process or cleaning my new AR15. He looked up at me and plain as day said "gun". Almost brought a tear to my eye. That's my Boy. It is never too early to learn about gun safty.

      The S&W 15-22 is a great gun. You can shoot the Federal bulk ammo. $20 for 550 rounds.
