Great points already made, only one other thing I do.
Now I am not an instructor, but I have taught several people how to shoot over the years. One thing I always do if it is a brand new shooter is only load one round in the magazine for their first shot.
You never know how someone will...
I know initially the Fort Wayne store had a bunch of them.
I went in last Thursday the day they went on sale. I got there around 1:00 and figured they'd be out, but they had a whole shopping cart full of them.
They said that's all they had been doing all day. I think in the time I was there...
I hear what you are saying, and well something is better than nothing.
It sounds like you are fairly new to shooting, I may be wrong, but that's what it sounds like. I would say keep practicing with the 9mm, maybe take a class. 9mm in the right handgun is a pretty nice shooter.
I don't...
Least maintenance for me is any of my Glocks.
Can't really say I've had a high maintenance firearm, but my pmr30 is probably the only one that gives me problems. Feeding issues with a variety of different ammo.
Very sorry for your loss. Sounds like you have a lot of great memories. I still think of both of my parents daily, miss them both, but am thankful for all the memories.
I really enjoy the Glock 42 and Kahr CW380, but for pocket carry and being fully concealed and comfortable I personally prefer the lcp. I personally prefer back pocket holster carry and it prints just like a wallet if anything. To me the 42 and cw380 are much better shooters, better trigger...
